Objective: Design a “Thank you” card for Langara College, featuring original artwork. The card represents the college while showcasing design abilities for multiple stakeholders including Foundation staff, instructors, and the president's office. Create using Adobe Illustrator with potential for hand-drawn elements. The message needs to express gratitude.

I designed the Thank You Card in a lovely and a cute style to illustrate that I cherish the person who will receive the card.

Power of Pink: Porsche 911

Objective: Design a 4-page magazine considering how text and design conveys meaning; employing text hierarchies as a way to navigate; selecting appropriate typeface pairings; creating effective image and text combinations; and creating visual continuity from page to page.

This magazine is inspired by the contrast between dynamic feature of Porsche 911. I used pink as a main colour to emphasize the contrast and give unexpected perspective. The layout shows a dynamic yet smooth composition, and leads the readers go through the text clearly.

The Secret Garden

Objective: Design a small Architectural Public Space: a Parklet. Review, apply, and strengthen skills with 3D modelling and 2D drawing tools, both in the design development and communication processes, while exploring design principles and spatial awareness concepts.

The Secret Garden parklet is a peaceful space designed to encourage people to take a break in the busy city. The greenery gives a calm, forestry atmosphere and a little escape experience into nature. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or gender, to join in this place and share with others. Sit, relax and enjoy the moment of peace. This place will be a perfect place for all.

Objective: Design, Document, and Fabricate a small Luminous Object, while exploring the relationship between Narrative, Form, Materiality, and Value— from concept to fabrication.

A snowflake is the most representative object that comes to mind first when I thinks of winter. I love to see snowing and staying inside in the winter. So I decided to create a luminous object with a snowflake as a way to feel winter inside a cozy home. Snowflakes have their own unique shapes and they give us special feeling that only can have in winter.
